- WAVE-RT has been validated as a real-time gas exchange simulation method on a cycle resolved level.
- A Matlab/Simulink® based engine test bed environment was introduced to couple a WAVE-RT simulation model with the engine ECU.
- To address the interfaces provided by the engine ECU several user coded sub models were developed.
- As a next step the WAVE-RT model will be implemented on a rapid prototyping unit in order to perform synchronized simulations closer to the ECU.
